Küçük yaşta kazanılan alışkanlıkların daha sağlam ve kalıcı olduğu kabul gören bir gerçektir. Yeni fikirlere sahip olma, hayal gücünün gelişmesi, yaratıcılığın çeşitlenmesi, farklı bakış açıları kazanma, kitap okumanın bir sonucudur. Kitaplar çocuklara sonsuz hayal gücü sunar. Kütüphaneler de bu hayallere açılan kapılardır.
